Sticking with a similar theme this week, gay/gay friendly soap stars, i have chosen James Sutton as hotness of the week.

I think the classic British soaps (Eastenders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Coronation Street) have amazing script writers at the moment. Discreetly, and not so, bringing to light a massive range of issues effecting our community today. Things such as underage pregnancy, homophobia, rape and bullying have all surfaced somewhere in the episodes of our favourite evening shows.

Now im not going to bang on about this subject too much because i mentioned this a few weeks ago. The reason i love these issues being splashed all over prime time shows is because its a great big finger up at all those sad w*****s sitting in front of the box, after a long day down the friggin ‘mine’, thinking we are gay just to irritate them.
However, we are screaming,  ... in the words of The Stonewall Charity ... “Some people are GAY, get over it!” You cant ignore us forever.

Now back to business ...lol
James is an English television actor, best known for playing the parts of John Paul McQueen in the British Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks and Ryan Lamb in the ITV soap Emmerdale.

His character in Emmerdale is totally smoldering. He plays a very sexual, tight overall wearing mechanic in the Dingle’s garage. Also son of the the recently deceased Mark Wylde and Emmerdale’s rowdy redhead, Faye Lamb.

In September 2006 he joined the cast of Hollyoaks as John Paul McQueen. During this portrayal, his character came out as being gay and started having an affair with his best friend, Craig Dean. The story-line was nominated for, and won, many awards. He left the soap on-screen in September 2008.

I am a bit of an emotional wreck this week. I have been getting watching alot of short gay films online. No not bloody porn! You can find alot of them online on YouTube, and holy hell they really tug on the old heart strings!

Now my hotness of the week is very very hot and plays a rather controversial role in the hit show Shameless!

However the heart throb that is Elliot Titterson also starred in a short gay film for Boys On Film 4 called “Protect Me From What i Want”, OMG you have to watch it. One minute i wanted to crack open the box of tissues and next minute, leg it to the bathroom and knock one out! Its a roller-coaster,and very intense!

 

Judging by Elliots previous acting experience, which basically consists of him portraying a rough, foul mouthed, but incredibly hot council trash scally on Shameless. To a tender, deliciously loving, hot ... council trash scally! The transformation is breathtaking!

Sticking with the same man ... its Elliot Titterson!

Here is a bit of background for you. In May 2009, Elliot appeared in an episode of BBC One drama miniseries Moving On, entitled Butterfly Effect.

He has also appeared in episodes of Silent Witness where he played a wrongly convicted gun man, the double episodes were very intense!

In January 2010, Elliot appeared on the cover of Attitude magazine. This is the second week in a row that i have featured a straight actor playing a gay role, i think in this day and age it is hugely important and relevant that actors and actresses address the issues of sexuality.

Good on you Elliot, and you do it so well!

On August 15, 2010 he handed himself in to police following a collision between his BMW Z4 and pedestrian who suffered head injuries. He was bailed the same day. Two days later it was reported that the man, 18-year-old Oliver Flint, had suffered bleeding to the brain and had lost all of his sight in one eye and most of his sight in the other eye.

Now i know i featured Danny Miller (Aaron from Emmerdale) a few months ago, however Attitude Magazine is a friend of mine on Facebook and i had a notification that Danny was September’s cover feature. Boy how he has grown!

What an amazing song by the X Factor diva and soul siren Alexandra Burke. This feisty fox keeps banging out those hit tunes, and this new track “Start Without You” is one of her best so far!

Miss Burke debuted the new song on Alan Carr’s Chatty Man show last week, i was initially impressed with the set she performed, not because of the tune, but the friggin dancers ... OMG. Check out the video above, and grab the tissues!

Maybe i am dyslexic, but the video seems to have very little relevance to the actual lyrics! LOL I'm not complaining though. This will keep you bumping and grinding all the way to Christmas.

This disturbingly arousing image of the notorious “Jedward” was released on the boy’s Twitter page last week with the caption “ YOU ASKED FOR IT WE GAVE IT”!

Now the thought of the irish twins bouncing around on stage, banging out a vile version of “Ghost Busters” is just nauseating. Having scanned this new picture for some time i am beginning to see the dubious duo in a whole new light!

Now i have adored McFly like all my life. Ever since they came on the scene as teeny boppers with the single 5 Colours In Her Hair, their pop, rock, punk style music has appealed to millions of people, mainly screaming girls, all around the world!

McFly appeared in the teen comedy film Just My Luck, starring Lindsay Lohan and Chris Pine, in 2006.The band played themselves in the film and released a US album, Just My Luck, which was also used as the film's soundtrack. The group have also performed at various charity projects such as Comic Relief, Children in Need, Live 8 and Sport Relief. The band also played themselves in a one off episode of the long-running BBC One drama Casualty.

As of December 2008, McFly have had sixteen consecutive top twenty singles, seven of which reached number 1 in the UK Singles Chart and fifteen of which were consecutive top ten singles, pretty impressive credentials chaps! But the part we are interested in is when you frequently feel the need to remove all your clothing!

I swear they are little bit too comfortable with each other!... Any space for a 5th member?

Now this is the scond time McFly have appeared in the gay mag... i so wish all my years of dreaming would become a reality. Some how i think it will be only in my head that i see them in the buff!

Tune of the week

Bless them girls. They have done so well for themselves. Seeing as they only started their ‘girl band’ career in 2007, The Saturdays have had a string of top ten singles, two albums and a sell-out UK Tour!

They just keep banging out those great summer tunes. Also they were amazing fun two weeks ago on Alan Carr, Chatty Man!

Hangover Day!

One thing I really truly miss about the UK has to be Sunday hangover days! After a really heavy night out on Saturday there is nothing better than dragging the ultra-thick duvet to the living room and onto the sofa, for a day packed full of disgustingly shite food and omnibuses of Eastenders and Corrie!

Now, im not complaining about the sun, sea and … sangria filled life I live here is Spain, but when the only thing you want to do on a Sunday is chill out and have a duvet day … well you just cant. I end up laying spread eagle on the floor, sweating my clack off desperately searching for the tiniest waft of a breeze.

As much as that image may amuse there is a point to this fascinating tale. I watched a fabulous film called “Killers”.

“Killers” is an action/comedy starring one of my favourite celebrities Ashton Kutcher. Not only is he very funny but he is super hot. Not only is this lucky young man married to world class actress Demi Moore (lucky bitch) he is also a very successful actor, model and producer.

Basically the Ashton is a hit man, who falls in love with his dream girl whilst on a mission in Nice, France. He opts out of his hectic and murderous lifestyle to settle down with his dream woman.

Unfortunately the powers that be had other ideas and track him down to his new inhabitance and make his and his wife’s life a living hell. Totally action packed and incredibly hot, mainly because Ashton spends most of the movie half naked.

He just cant keep his kit on! Anyone complaining?

Anyway ... Good day world! Hope you all had a good weekend. Another great weekend in Benidorm Old Town. The “Ladies Night” hosted at G.A.P Lounge bar was a great success. Jo and Rhi kept the ladies well entertained all evening with great food, music, and a fabulous live vocal performance by G.A.P’s very own Jolene.

Beach Bum’s “Boys Night” was a scream too, with the very sexual Andy and Daniel, semi naked and very willing to flaunt it at the bar.

This was Saturday night in Chaplin, the date is wrong on my camera ... woops!

A great night in Chaplins too on Saturday night. What a buzz! An excellent mix of people from all walks of life having a ball together, now that’s what I like to see!

I was going to feature the very sexual and slightly homoerotic Dominic Cooper, star of Mama Mia. However, I was reminded of the equally sexual and doubly homoerotic actor Ben Barnes. Ben is probably most famous for starring in the 2009 Dorian Gray movie.

So so so groovy!

In the words of Alan Carr, "what a week it's been!" Temperatures have been sky high is the Costa Blanca’s favourite gay resort. The Town Hall and the Mayor’s Office have both released statements stating that they are in total support of the gay scene in Benidorm and the Coast Blanca, and they are embracing the open and colorful attitude of the town. Great news! Finally, all we need is for them to pay for a bloody gay-pride, then we are sorted!

This weekend has been buzzing in Benidorm and surrounding areas, with various free concerts hosted around the city. After dark the bars and restaurants have been electric too. Even the beaches at night have been jam packed, with sweaty party people taking advantage of the sea at a “bath water” tepid temperature of 25oc! The beach rules are a little unclear in Benidorm, especially after dark so take care. Last year the Town Hall released rules/laws “advising” people to stay off the sand and out of the water between the hours of 24:00 and 07:00. However, judging by the lack of police presence near the beach and the sheer amount to late night swimmers, i think you are ok to dip a toe in!

If you are a “rom-com” or “chick-flick” fan like me (how gay i know!) then you will have been watching the fabulousness that is, Gossip Girl.

Now, with an incredibly beautiful cast it was a real bitch of a chore trying to pick the fittest guy from the bunch. After much deliberation and a box and a half of Kleenex, i came to a decision!

Badgley portrays Dan Humphrey, the son of 1990's former rock star Rufus Humphrey (Matthew Settle) and brother of Jenny Humphrey (Taylor Momsen). He plays the love interest of Upper East Side's "it" girl, Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively).

The show revolves around the lives of socialite young adults growing up on New York's Upper East Side who attend elite academic institutions while dealing with sex, drugs, and other teenage shit. A must watch, it’s a great show.

Now McFly have been on my list “Hotness” list for sometime, so after seeing the new cover of Attitude Magazine this month, i have to give them a mention.
I know most boy bands are clean cut and boy-next-door ‘ish’. These McFly boys just cant keep their clothes on, and i love it!

This is the second cover of Attitude that they have posed naked for, they just get better each time, especially Dougie Poynter, the shy bass guitarist!

Hotness of the week is a favourite of mine, not that i watch a huge amount of porn ... ha! Its Brent Corrigan.

Sean Lockhart aka Brent was born October 31, 1986 is most famous for being a model, actor and gay pornographic actor . He is best known for his roles in Schoolboy Crush with Brent Everett and Velvet Mafia alongside Erik Rhodes.

In September 2005, Corrigan made the claim that he falsified his identification documents to make his first films, being under-age when these were filmed. This public statement resulted in much controversy, causing many of his films to be (voluntarily) pulled from distribution channels.

The statement has been a major part of both a continuing legal dispute between Corrigan and Cobra Video, as well as much debate amongst fans.

This week’s top totty is Jamie Bell.
He is perhaps best known for playing the title character in the film Billy Elliot (2000), for which he won the 2001 BAFTA Award for Best Actor.

However, since his ‘skip-pity skip’ days, Jamie has certainly shaped up into a rather beautiful ballerina! Yes he is old enough before you ask, born 14 March 1986, he is older than me .... ha!

Jamie has starred in some blockbuster films since his good old tutu days! Films such as Peter Jackson's King Kong, and Jumper are on his list of accomplishments! Don’t give up the modeling either Jamie ... much appreciated!

Now i am not the biggest fan of footie, but i have to take my hate off to the boys. Spain totally did us all proud this weekend at the World Cup Finals.
Benidorm, and i imagine every  city across Spain erupted last night as Team Espania thrashed the opposition Holland 1-0.

Any bar, restaurant or cafe with a television was full to bursting point and the Town Hall even erected huge TV screens so that everyone could enjoy the atmosphere together as one.

Celebrations went on till the early hours of the morning, and on my bus journey to work at 9 am this morning, the frolicking was still occurring all over town. Get on Spain, we know how to party!

This is a great boost for Spain, not only financially but reputaion-wise too. Spain sunny cities have had a tough time since the recession, so i think this win could make all the difference over the summer.

Staying with the subject of football, my hotness of the week has to be one of the Spanish football Squad. Fernando Torres. The pleasure is all mine Mr Torres!

TV show of the week

The whole world seems to have gone “Glee” crazy! Everyway you turn, its on the radio, TV, Internet, Tabloids! Now i cant really talk much about the show because i am still downloading it as we speak, but i think it need a mention seeing as it has taken the globe by storm.

If you dont know what Glee is, then you are either dead or just need a big slap! Glee is basically an American musical comedy-drama television series (Its been compared to “Britannia High, Fame, and High School Musical”).
It focuses on a high school show choir called "New Directions", at the fictional William McKinley High School in Lima, Ohio. Glee partly picked up is huge viewer ratings because it was aired just after the legendary American Idol on May 19th 2009.

After the first series finale, Glee was commissioned a second series and returned attracting an average viewer count of about 13.8 million people! The cast’s covers of some of the most influential and famous songs in the world are released on iTunes during the week, and more often than not, have huge UK and US chart success. The music of Glee has been a commercial sensation, with over seven million digital sales.

Well sticking with the Glee-theme. My eye-candy of the week is defiantly gonna be Mark Salling, who plays Noah "Puck" Puckerman in Glee. He is totally the most lush thing on the show, apart from the teacher, who is looking a little rough round the edges!

Celebrity of the week

Now back to business. Years ago when i worked in the Happy Handbag, i was scouring through YouTube and came across a little gem. At present, the charts are full of “rising stars” and YouTube discoveries”. However i think this young lady was one of the first.

In 2005, Charice joined Little Big Star, a talent show in the Philippines loosely patterned after American Idol. Eliminated after her first performance, she was later called back as a wildcard contender and eventually became a finalist. Although she was a consistent top scorer in the final rounds, she only finished in third place based on text voting.

Charice made minor appearances on local television shows and commercials, but essentially had fallen off the radar after her stint at Little Big Star. It was not until 2007 that she gained worldwide recognition after an avid supporter started posting a series of her performance videos on YouTube under the username FalseVoice. These videos received millions of hits making Pempengco an internet phenomenon.

After seeing her Star King performance on YouTube, Ellen DeGeneres extended an on-air invitation to Pempengco to guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. She flew to the United States for the first time and performed two songs on the December 19, 2007 episode of the show - "I Will Always Love You" and "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going".

Since her discovery Charice has appeared on many TV shows and movies including The Oprah Winfrey Show, Alvin and he Chipmunks and also a reoccurring role in the hit US show Glee.

I was thrilled to hear that the song i am loving so much at the moment is actually Charice.

I was sifting through the top 40 chats this week and spotted Timbland and Justin Timberlake’s new tune “Carry Out”, and totally loved it. The sound is smooth and sexy .... and as for Justin .... phwwwwwrrrrr!

He has had quite a career seeing he is only 29 years old. He has won six Grammy Awards as well as two Emmy Awards. He got his big break when he appeared as a contestant on Star Search, and went on to star in the Disney Channel television series The New Mickey Mouse Club, where he met future band mate JC Chasez. Timberlake became famous in the late 1990s as the lead singer of the boy band 'N Sync all those years ago ... bless!

TV show of the week

Ugly Betty has dominated my life this week. I watched it years ago when it first started, then missed it for ages. Now i am back up to date and adore the show more than ever. The humor is quick and witty, and each individual character bounces off the other in an almost harmonic way.

The Super star within the cast is Vanessa.L.Williams who plays fashion ice queen and editor in chief of Mode Magazine Wilhelmina Slater). She was a major singing diva back in the 80’s ... LOL, i had no idea!

I totally forgot about this guy, its the utterly irresistible Mitch Hewer. Im not going to blabber too much about him because, well the truth is who gives a damn ... look at him! Who cares if he has a PHD!

Mitch was born 1 July 1989 in Bristol and is best known for his role of Maxxie Oliver, an openly gay character, in the E4 teen drama, Skins. At the end of the second series of Skins, his character — along with the rest of the main cast — was written out of the show.
He has also starred in Britannia High as the all around talent Danny Miller.

Is it just me or have all the British Soap operas gone really “GAY” in these last few months, and the young actors and actresses are pulling out all the stops to hot things up this summer on our TV screens.

think the most dramatic story line has to be Aaron’s (Emmerdale) struggle with his sexuality. For a young dude he sure knows how to turn on the water-works! He should sooooo win an gong at the next Soap Awards! I still think it would be so much hotter if they released an “X” Rated Emmerdale, and Aaron and that farmer-boy did it in a barn somewhere in Home Farm!

According to my favorite source, in real life, he currently shares a flat with his friend and on-screen Emmerdale co-star Adam Thomas who plays his character's best friend Adam Barton. Wit woo, something you want to tell us Aaron?


The most upsetting and moving story line for me was definitely Christian and Syed’s affair (EastEnders). OMG it truly breaks my heart, these ‘gay-themed’ story-lines seem to be so much more intense than the other shit that is shown these days!

Its a double act this week. The ultimate battle of “vamp vs wolf” ... and more importantly, its a battle of the six-packs! It has to be Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson.! Is it the weather or has it just got very hot around here?

Decisions .... decisions!

These cute and cuddly creatures have been stirring up a global frenzy with their on and off screen antics. If you are an 11 year old girl, or a gay-guy with half a pulse, these boys will have you chasing your tail in circles! Sorry cant help myself...lol!

Robert Pattinson was first noted for his acting ability when he joined the Cast of Harry Potter, for the film The Goblet Of Fire, playing Cedric Diggory. He then disappeared off our screens for a while, and came back an undeniable, unbelievable, sex-god! Amen to him and his on/off screen lover Kirsten Stewart, i bet they get up to all kinds of 'naughties' off set!

Now taylor Lautner is sickeningly, only 18 years old. But hell with it he is legal! He was a relatively unknown actor, he appeared as himself in America's Most Talented Kids, putting on an exhibition of his Martial Arts skills (hence the six-pack). After a few minor TV roles and voice-overs, he was casted to portray Jacob Black in the Twilight Saga.

Some you may not know who my celeb of the week is. Her name is Idina Menzel. She is a hugley successful Westend actress, singer and songwriter.
Idina is best known for originating the roles of Maureen in Rent and Elphaba in Wicked.

In 2003, Menzel starred in the Original Broadway Cast with actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth on Broadway in Wicked, a musical by Stephen Schwartz and Winnie Holzman loosely based upon the popular 1995 Gregory Maguire novel.

Menzel received the 2004 Tony Award for Best Leading Actress in a Musical for her portrayal of Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West. On her third-to-last performance of Wicked on January 8, 2005, she fell through a trap door and cracked a lower rib. The injury prevented her from performing in the January 9 show. Menzel did, however, make a special out-of-costume appearance at that performance, performed her final song, and received a 5 minute long standing ovation

More recently i was thrilled to discover that she also has a recurring guest star role in the television series Glee (which i featured a few blogs ago), playing Shelby Corcoran, the coach of the rival glee club Vocal Adrenaline.
